Alicia Keys Schedules Extra Stick Fly Talk-Back Sessions

Alicia Keys has added four new talk-back session dates for the play Stick Fly. The discussion sessions — which include members of the cast and will address issues of music, class, race, and politics raised by the play — will be held at the Cort Theatre after the following performances:

  • Saturday, January 7 at 8pm
  • Monday, February 6 at 7pm
  • Thursday, February 16 at 7pm
  • Sunday, February 26 at 7:30pm

Keys explained, “I love standing on stage with this incredible cast and talking to audiences after they experience the magic of seeing Stick Fly performed live. I couldn’t resist adding more dates to this discussion series and I look forward to keeping the conversation going! Come join me, I love seeing you and hearing your thoughts and questions! “

"Sticky Fly" (Broadway show)

Alicia is trying her hand as a Broadway producer this fall with the upcoming production of Lydia R. Diamond's Stick Fly. The play follows the gathering of an upper-class African-American family at their luxurious Martha's Vineyard vacation home. Familial troubles arise as the youngest son brings home his fiancee, who is not accustomed to the family's affluent lifestyle.
