“Stick Fly” Opens at the Cort Theater

Last Thursday Alicia Keys was joined by her husband Swizz Beatz at the opening of “Stick Fly” at the Cort Theater in New York City. Keys produced the play which is based on an original story written by Lydia Diamond and directed by Kenny Leon.

Alicia is trying her hand as a Broadway producer this fall with the upcoming production of Lydia R. Diamond's Stick Fly. The play follows the gathering of an upper-class African-American family at their luxurious Martha's Vineyard vacation home. Familial troubles arise as the youngest son brings home his fiancee, who is not accustomed to the family's affluent lifestyle.
