Alicia Keys and White Stripes frontman Jack White have been lined up to appear on a special Bond-themed X Factor live show - reports Digital Spy. The pair have agreed to give a performance of their duet ‘Another Way to Die’, which is being used as the theme for forthcoming 007 movie Quantum of Solace.

Meanwhile, the show’s finalists will be asked to belt out other Bond theme tunes, including Madonna’s ‘Die Another Day’ and Shirley Bassey’s ‘Goldfinger’. An insider told The Sun: “It’s going to be brilliant. All the judges can wear black tie and we’ll have a live orchestra. There are some great songs for the finalists to choose from.

For R&B songstress Alicia Keys, collaborating with rock’n'roll heavyweight Jack White on “Another Way to Die,” the theme song for Quantum of Solace and the first-ever duet in Bond movie history, was like a dream come true. But isn’t about time six-string deity Mr. White chimed in?

“After a couple of years of wanting to collaborate with Alicia Keys, it took James Bond himself to finally make it happen. Alicia put some electric energy into her breath that cemented itself into the magnetic tape. Very inspiring to watch. It gave me a new voice, and I wasn’t myself anymore. I drummed for her voice and she mimicked the guitar tones, then we joined our voices and screamed and moaned about these characters in the film and their isolation, having no one to trust, not even themselves. Before Keys joined the group at their Summer Sonic Festival performance in Japan, frontman Chris Martin described her as “the most beautiful woman in the world…except for my wife [actress Gwyneth Paltrow]“.
