Alicia was seen yesterday leaving MTV Studios.

I’ve added to the gallery photos from Alicia’s tour stop in Columbus, Ohio on April 26, 2008.

The 2007 chart-topping album “As I Am” is still a fresh concern for Alicia Keys, but the singer tells Billboard.com that she’s already actively mulling her next record.

“I’ve been thinking about the next album since we kind of wrapped up this album,” says Keys, who’s in the middle of a North American tour promoting “As I Am.” The set, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in November, still remains in the top 30 of the chart. (more…)

At first, it seemed that Alicia Keys might have been swallowed up by her machine. At last night’s concert at a half-filled Value City Arena, she initially showed up gamely singing and dancing with six dancers dressed as mimes, a quartet of backup singers, a full band, and a light show worthy of Vegas. The production was slick, but Keys’ personality was swamped by the show.

Here is a transcript of Alicia Keys’ recent teleconference from Paris with several journalists.:

Q Since I work in Minneapolis, I have two Minnesota questions for you. First of all, how did it feel to be name-checked by Bob Dylan in his song “Thunder on the Mountain”?

A. I loved that, I’ve got to say it. It definitely was a bit of a shock. I wasn’t really expecting that. And I didn’t quite believe it, honestly. My friend John Mayer was the first person that told me about it. And I was like, “Stop it, John. Why?” I didn’t understand why. And so obviously after I found it was definitely the truth, it was just a great honor. You know he’s one of the greatest songwriters of all time, and I thought that for me to live in his songbook is pretty damn cool.  (more…)

After canceling a concert in Pittsburgh, PA last night, eleven-time Grammy winner, Alicia Keys, must cancel a second stop along her Lexus Presents the Alicia Keys As I Am Tour due to a continued bout with swollen vocal chords. The show was scheduled for Thursday night at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, OH. Ticket holders in both cities may contact the respective venues for instructions and fans with tickets for the Cleveland concert will be able to have them honored at the upcoming show in Columbus, OH.

Keys, who is currently being treated by a physician, is expected to return to the stage on Saturday, April 26th at the Value City Arena at the Jerome Schottenstein Center in Columbus.
